Preschoolers will learn about letters with these Craft Stick Letter Mats! Focus on letter recognition, handwriting, beginning sounds, and more!
Print and laminate these letter mats. Place them in your preschool literacy centers with some dry erase markers and a bunch of craft sticks – both short and regular sized sticks.
Children will choose a letter mat to complete. Have them name the featured letter and trace it with their fingers.
Then, have them identify the image on the letter mat paying close attention to the beginning sound.
Using craft sticks, have your preschooler build the featured letter. End the activity by tracing the letters. Have children name the letter as they trace it.
