Description
This set of bee-themed tracing lines is a fun way to teach toddlers and preschoolers how to hold and use a pencil. This set includes five pages of tracing lines.
Add these bee-themed tracing lines to your pre-writing centers for a fun, hands-on way to practice beginning writing skills and to encourage pencil control.
These pages will help preschoolers practice tracing straight, diagonal, and curved lines.
What’s included?
This set includes five pages. Each page includes five tracing lines with a variety of straight, diagonal, and curved lines.
How to use these pages…
I like to print these pages on colored paper. This adds a little color to the activity.
I also laminate the pages before use. If you don’t have a laminator, you can slip them into a dry erase pouch.
Then, have kids use dry erase markers to trace the lines from left to right. They’ll start at the bee on the left, and trace the line to the beehive on the right.
What skills are taught?
- pencil control
- hand-eye coordination
- left to right progression
