Description
Learning to recognize the letters of the alphabet, how they’re formed, and the sounds they make is an important skill for preschool and kindergarten students to learn. This jumbo pack of letter tracing worksheets gives kids an opportunity to practice these skills.
In addition, tracing letters and images is a great way to develop proper pencil grip, strengthen fine motor skills, and foster hand-eye coordination.
There are over 200 pages in this alphabet bundle – each one designed the same for consistency.
At the top of each page is an image that begins with the featured letter. Students can trace the image on the dotted line with their favorite writing utensil. Or, they can use wikki stix to outline the images.
Once the image is outlined, kids can color them in if they’d like. If your kids don’t like to color, just print the pages on colored paper and then let them outline the images.
Under the image, there is a sentence that follows the same format… “__ is for ___.” These sentences help kids learn the sounds each letter makes.
Finally, there are two rows of letters to trace – one row of uppercase letters and one row of lowercase letters.
You can add these pages to your literacy centers, your handwriting centers, your preschool themes, or your letter of the week lessons.
