Description
Preschool math made fun! These preschool shapes worksheets help young learners learn six shapes, shape names, and characteristics.
How to use these pages…
The pages in this workbook are designed to print and go. Only one, the flashcards, require any prepwork.
You can make these pages reusable by laminating the worksheets and using dry erase markers to complete the activities.
Cut apart the shape flashcards before using them with your preschoolers.
Completing the activities
On pages 2-4, children will trace the shapes and a description of the shapes. Then, they’ll build the shapes with playdough.
Children will follow a color code to identify shapes on page 5.
Page 6 asks kids to identify a shape and draw a line to its name.
Page 7, my favorite, has kids color shape robots according to a color code.
Page 8 is the flashcard page. Laminate and cut apart the flashcards to teach and reinforce the shapes, shape names, and characteristics.
