Butterfly Number Sense

Work on numbers and number sense with your preschoolers. They’ll love this hands-on number sense activity with a fun butterfly theme!

Add this butterfly-themed number activity to your preschooler math centers for a fun way to review numbers.

How to use this activity…

Print the pages on cardstock and laminate for durability. Cut out the number sense discs. Put a velcro dot in each circle on the butterfly mats and on the back of each disc.

Preschoolers will identify the number on each butterfly’s body. Then, they’ll find the four discs that represent that number.

Children will identify counting fingers, ten frames, tallies, and number words
