Dinosaur Sight Words

Children will practice reading and writing 40 pre-primer Dolch sight words with these adorable dinosaur sight words cards.

Preparing the Activity

Print and laminate the pages. Cut apart all of the cards. This set includes forty dinosaur cards – one for each of the pre-primer sight words.

Completing the Activity

Fill a shallow tray with colored sand or rice. Hace children choose a dinosaur sight words card. Then, have them practice writing that word in the salt/rice with their fingertip.

If you’d like, they can build the words with letter beads or magnetic letters.
