Preschool Camping Theme

Four days of camping-themed activities for preschoolers! Each day, you’ll work on a variety of preschool skills including the alphabet, numbers, crafts, motor skills, and more.

Camping Day 1

• Book summary page

• Alphabet matching cards – match uppercase/lowercase letters

• Tracing pages – trace various line styles from left to right

• Count and clip cards – counting practice 1-10

• Scavenger hunt – take on a camping trip or in your pretend play area

• Camping letter hunt – choose a card and identify the letter

Camping Day 2

• Book summary page

• Camping number cards – numbers, words, and counting sets 1-20

• Playdough mats

• Number puzzles – number words and counting sets 1-10

• Camping paper plate craft

• Camping sentences – cut and paste words in order to make sentences

Camping Day 3

• Book summary page

• Color sorting – match the colored fireflies to the correct jar

• Scissor practice – students will cut lines from left to right

• Number building – Choose a number card, build it on the ten frames, and trace it on the recording page

• Sight words – read the sight words and trace it in the sand tray

• Camping Snakes and Ladders board game

Camping Day 4

• Book summary page

• Alphabet clip cards – identify the letters and clip the match

• Lacing cards

• Size sorting – sort the cards from biggest to smallest or smallest to biggest

• Ten frames – identify the numbers and fill in the ten frame

• Pattern strips – use snap cubes or blocks to mimic the patterns
